My recent stay at Refugio Samauma was truly exceptional, exceeding all of my high expectations as a landscape photographer seeking both relaxation and inspiration. The warm hospitality extended by Ana Ligia and her family made me feel right at home, while the beautifully maintained property nestled in the heart of the rainforest provided a perfect retreat from the hustle and bustle of city life. I was particularly impressed by the attention to detail in the rustic accommodations, which featured charming parquet flooring that added character and warmth to my stay. Breakfast was a delightful experience, with a rich offering of local fruits and dishes made from fresh, high-quality ingredients; the fish for lunch was nothing short of spectacular. The absence of internet in the cottages allowed me to fully immerse myself in the surrounding nature, though I appreciated having access to broadband in the main building for my morning web calls.
